High School Bound!

 

Peabody K-8 Academy hosted a high school resource fair today organized by two SLPS grads – Derion Tabb, an intern with the St. Louis Public Schools Foundation, and Darion Robinson, an intern with the District’s Department of Academic Services.

Students in grades 5-8 talked with representatives from College Summit, inspireSTL, the St. Louis Public Library, Construction Careers Center, the United Way and SLPS, including Gateway STEM High School, Cleveland JROTC High School, Beaumont High School and the Office of Recruitment and Placement.

Peabody is becoming an elementary school-only for next school year, so it was a great opportunity for these groups to help give direction to and celebrate these final Peabody middle school students as they move on to high school and forward in another middle school.
