• District Announces Two Make-up Snow Days

    Professional Development Day and Parent/Teacher Conference Day to be used  

     

    ST. LOUIS, MO, January 28, 2014 – The St. Louis Public School District will adjust the 2013/2014 school calendar to make-up two of the six instructional days lost due to inclement weather thus far this winter.  Snow, ice and extreme cold temperatures resulted in the District cancelling classes on January 6 – 10 and January 21. 

     

    The District will cancel a Professional Development day scheduled for Friday, February 14, 2014 and use this day as a full instructional day for students and staff.  The District is also cancelling the Parent/Teacher Conference Day scheduled for Friday, March 14, 2014 and will use this day as a full instructional day for students and staff.  The 3rd Quarter report cards will now be sent home to parents via students on March 14.

     

    As there are approximately two months of potential winter weather remaining, the District will withhold making a decision on the remaining four snow days until the threat of additional winter weather passes.
