Welcome to the Busch Middle School of Character Principal's Corner
Hello Busch Families and Friends,
School begins on Monday, August 19th! We will distribute backpacks, supplies and handbooks. Students, feel free to bring a book for morning reading, but we also have packets for the first couple of days. I am excited to announce we have a new Assistant Principal; please welcome Dr. Valentine Malumbe! Dr. Malumbe has been in the district since 1999 (the same year I started) and has a tremendous amount of experience in teaching, coaching and administration. When Ms. Cook informed us she was moving, we knew we had big shoes to fill. From the beginning, we were very interested in getting Dr. Malumbe, and things worked out for us! In addition, we have a number of other new teachers that are very positive and committed to our character program.

When a holiday falls on Monday, distribution moves to Tuesday, e.g., Labor Day is Monday, Sept. 7, 2021; distribution will be Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2021. -
