• Report Dear Stakeholder,

As Superintendent of Schools, I would like to take a moment to thank you for your support of the students and staff of Saint Louis Public Schools and share with you our new Report to the Community.  This 16-page document recaps the District’s recent successes under the guidance of the Special Administrative Board.  A special note of thanks goes out to our students, parents and teachers for working so hard to raise the level of achievement in SLPS.

The information contained within the Report to the Community illustrates how our District has met academic and financial challenges head-on, thanks to the commitment and extraordinary support from our corporate and community supporters.  While we have not achieved the level of success we desire, the District is truly moving in the right direction.

The enclosed Report to the Community is the first of its kind for Saint Louis Public Schools.  It includes data for the past five years, covering such important milestones as the $155 Million Prop S Bond Issue, the expansion of the Early Childhood program, and the District regaining Provisional Accreditation from the State Board of Education.

Please take a few moments to review the Saint Louis Public Schools Report to the Community. We invite you to share the report with others via our website:  www.slps.org/report.  If you have any questions regarding the report, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

    Sincerely,

     Kelvin R. Adams
