Dear SLPS Families,
I am excited to share with you some information about an upcoming event targeting parents and girls ages 9-18. On Saturday, May 16, Girls in the Know will be hosting a movie, The Empowerment Project, followed by a lively panel discussion at Wydown Middle School. This short documentary highlights ordinary women – women who were not afraid to fail while pursuing their dreams – doing extraordinary things. The movie will start at 10 a.m. and lasts for an hour; it will be followed by a panel discussion hosted by KMOV’s Emily Rau and featuring Khalia Coller, owner and general manager of the St. Louis Surge women’s basketball team.
