School Board Governance
On Jan. 10, 2017, the Saint Louis Public School District regained full accreditation! The appointed Special Administrative Board has been governing our district since 2007, but with full accreditation restored, the SAB established a special committee in late 2017 to explore our District's future governance structure.
Richard K. Gaines, a member of the Special Administrative Board, chaired the special committee. Three public meetings* were held for the committee and public to learn about three governance models. Feedback was taken during the meetings and over a two-week period following the conclusion of the meetings.
