• SLPS Students Win Big in Poison Prevention Week Poster Contest

    Gateway Elementary student Tyler Cartwright is the grand-prize winner in SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center’s 2014 Poison Prevention Week Poster Contest.

    Gateway Elementary student Jabari Moore also was a big winner, receiving first place for third grade. The poster contest is open to all St. Louis city and county elementary students in kindergarten through 4th grade. Only six posters were selected from hundreds of entries – one grand prize winner and one for each grade.

    All winning posters will be displayed in the Atrium of SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center through Poison Prevention Week, March 16-22, 2014.

    Each winner was given a goodie bag and a Mr. Yuk T-shirt. Jabari will receive a Ted Drewes party for his class. Tyler will receive a pizza party for his class. Both are students of Debbie Stockhausen, art teacher at Gateway Elementary.
