    ST. LOUIS, MO.  January 11, 2013 – In the spring of 1987 Police Chief Dotson graduated from Metro High School. A normal high school senior, he dreamed of becoming a police officer and attended Webster University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Management before moving on to receive his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Fontbonne University. He then joined the St. Louis Police Academy on October 11, 1993.

    A role model who achieved his dream, Chief Dotson was welcomed at Metro Academic and Classical High School, his high school alma mater, where he spoke in hopes of encouraging students to follow their aspirations by focusing on their education.
