• The votes are in and St. Louis Public School District students have chosen incumbent President Barack Obama over challenger Mitt Romney in a landslide. SLPS students in all grades cast ballots as part of Kids Voting Missouri. When the final vote was counted, Obama won with 10,367 votes to 721 for Romney.  Libertarian party candidate Gary Johnson netted 140 votes.

    Students in grades preschool through 3rd grade voted for President, United States Senate and Missouri Governor. Students in grades 4th - 12th voted in those races, and also cast ballots for United States Congress, Missouri Lt. Governor, Missouri Secretary of State, Missouri Treasurer, Missouri Attorney General and for the ballot initiative Proposition B.
