Welcome to Senior Entrepreneurship

  • In the senior entrepreneurship class, students will extend their exploration of small business and entrepreneurship through classroom-based learning and focused preparation. Building on the foundational knowledge acquired in the first year, students will delve deeper into advanced concepts, case studies, and practical applications to further develop their entrepreneurial skills. This course is strategically designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and strategies before they embark on their real-world internships during the second semester. The immersive learning experiences and in-depth study during this semester aim to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities they will encounter as they transition from the classroom to hands-on entrepreneurial endeavors.

  • Dual Credit from UMSL 

    ENT 1100 Introduction to Entrepreneurship: 3 semester hours

    This course focuses on the fundamental ideas of entrepreneurship. Students will develop a working knowledge of entrepreneurial concepts, vocabulary, skills, and tools through case studies and practical applications. Students will actively participate in hands-on learning and team building exercises and will prepare a business simulation.

  • Great First Week

    Well, we all survived the first week. I am super proud of the seniors for all being able to make it and having almost perfect attendance every day they had class. 

    We will be getting laptops it sounds like next week so we will hit the ground running really quickly with lessons. Our new platform will provide the students with all the information they need to learn about Entrepreneurship.

    Here is to a repeat next week and only 5 days until our first home football game and three day weekend!

    It's Hump Day! 

    We made it through the halfway mark. The seniors spent a some more time in the school store and are getting ready to take on more of the responsibilities of the store in the coming days. Friday we are going to start working on creating some new products, so be on the lookout of some updates on the JagTown page, which you can get to from my main teacher page!

  • Welcome Back

    Hello Everyone! Hopefully everyone had a great first day, I know I did. It was great to see all the familiar faces in class. 

    We spent today getting adjusted to our new schedules and going over how the year is going to go. If you're interested, the syllabus is in the file section of the website on the right. There you will also find a copy of the Entrepreneurship Contract. Each student is required to complete the contract by September 4th. Parents/Guardians will need to sign it as well as everyone is an integral part of the learning process for this class.
