Hello! Gateway STEM Students and Families

I will be your Math Teacher for the 2021-2022 School Year. I am so excited to see all of your faces!

Returning to "In Person" School is exciting and we will all learn to navigate change together! Let me share a few things about me. As an Educator, I am so happy to return to the classroom and learn together. 

I have always loved to learn, so I decided to teach others. I graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor Degree in English Literature & Liberal Studies. I began teaching in 2003, and have continued to attend college every since! I kept on going and received a Masters Degree in the Art of Teaching Exceptionally unique students, gifted & talented students, and studied as a School Psychologist. 

I have a 20-year-old son, off to college, and have family all over the United States and Europe, too. I love being a mom, teacher, sister, aunt, and when I can, I really love to travel to Europe & see my family in Germany because my parents are immigrants and I understand all different cultures, know a few different languages,love all types of food, culture, art, travel, my two cats, playing tennis, soccer, and I enjoy being part of the St. Louis Community. 

I am looking forward to seeing all your bright faces!
