    Biography:  This is my 26th year as a St. Louis Public School District teacher. I have taught at Compton-Drew Investigative Learning Center, Blow Middle, and Humboldt Middle before joining the staff at Gateway STEM seventeen years ago. In addition to being a Special Education teacher in the Autism Department, I served as the school's Athletic Director, a Special Education Case Manager, and a Coach for Girl's Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball. Also, I attended school in St. Louis Public School district at L'Overture Elementary and Enright Middle before graduating from Soldan High School.
     
                     After graduating from high school, I enrolled at the University of Missouri- Columbia to pursue a degree in Accounting. I was a member of the Boy's Basketball squad during my freshman year. I was offered an athletic scholarship to continue playing basketball my sophomore year but decided I wanted to focus on graduation requirements. Four years later, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
     
                  After college, I started a very successful Sales and Marketing career working as a Territory Sales Manager for Phillip Morris, Johnson & Johnson, and Duracell, Inc. During my Sales and Marketing career, I was awarded the President's Circle award five times for exceeding 100% of the sales quota. Also, I earned the President's Inner Circle award for five consecutive years of achievement. This is the company's top Sales Award! Lastly, I completed my Teacher Certification coursework and my Master's Program in Special Education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
