Hello! Welcome to the paw-somest page in the district! I will update photos and activities for Pre-Vet here on this page.

 

Teacher Statement:

I grew up in the city of St. Louis and graduated from Gateway STEM in 2013. I am so glad to be back in the city that I love and be working for a school that shaped who I am today. I have a love/respect for all critters, big and small, and look forward to passing that love to future generations. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale.

    Critter Safe Fruits and Veggies

    See above for critter safe fruits and veggies for our critters! These are mostly catered to our rodent friends, as they get daily veggies and fruits offered to them.

    Below are links to Amazon Wish-lists of food/treats/toys if you are interested in purchasing anything for our menagerie, or if you need any ideas:

    We will also take the cardboard rolls from paper towels/ toilet paper, cardboard boxes, and the paper packing material from packages; these help our rodents grind down their teeth and are completely edible.
