Teacher Message:I am passionate about education in general and the education of the students in St. Louis, MO specifically. I want to be instrumental in providing a safe and caring learning community that promotes the success of lifelong learners, our future, in this diverse and ever changing world. With 20 years of hands-on educational experience with SLPS, I am confident that I possess the skills, knowledge, and insight that is needed to promote the district’s philosophy and contribute in ensuring that all students learn in a safe and caring community. 

Biography:

I started with SLPS as a 7th grade Language Arts teacher in 2004. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving as a classroom teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal and an Academic Instructional Coach. I have had the privilege to serve as a classroom teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal and an Academic Instructional Coach.I am committed to the academic excellence of students, and to promoting effective instructional practices within the classroom. I strongly believe that all students can learn if we, as professional educators, meet them on their academic level and provide them with positive instruction, love, and guidance. This work is not easily done, but I welcome the challenge.
