    The Marketing Education major program at Gateway STEM High School is a college prepatory pathway that finishes with students earning an Industry-recognized Credential (A*S*K Fundamental Marketing Concepts) and an internship in the Spring Semester of the Senior Year.

    The program requires that students complete a four-unit (two each semester) block of marketing coursework during their junior year and an eight-unit (four each semester) block of marketing coursework (fall-term) and an internship (spring-term).  

    Through the required Marketing Education program coursework, students become skilled in the following areas:

    • Marketing-Information Management
    • Market Planning
    • Marketing
    • Pricing
    • Product/Service Management
    • Professional Development
    • Promotion
    • Selling

    After the completion of the A*S*K Fundamentals of Marketing exam (Click Here for More Information), students participate in a one semester internship.  During this internship, students work with local business leaders for a minimum of 120 clock hours in an approved occupational area.   The areas include:
