    Available Courses

    The Business Education department at Gateway STEM High School provides students with opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills through coursework in:

    All coursework is delivered in high-tech laboratories, where every students has access to up-to-date computer systems, color laser printing, and projection systems.  Furthermore, course content is aligned with standards from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and informed by an Advisory Committee of business, education, and industry professionals.  

     

    In addition to the availability of technology and relevant instruction; teachers utilize online applications such as Socrative, Quizlet, Schoology, and many others to engage all students in business coursework.  Many business courses also take advantage of the school-based enterprise (Jagtown, a school store) to help students learn to apply business knowledge to real-world settings.  More information about Jagtown is available by CLICKING HERE.

     

    Finally, all students at Gateway have the opportunity to participate in FBLA and/or DECA to compete regionally, statewide, and nationally to demonstrate their excellence in business education.  More information about FBLA is available by CLICKING HERE and more information about DECA is available by CLICKING HERE.
