Walter Owens (April 9, 1973) is a former outfielder in major league baseball for the Cleveland Indians and Montreal Expos.  He played college baseball at Odessa College and the University of Miami and was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 45^th round (1238^th overall) of the Amateur Entry Draft and then selected by the Montreal Expos in the 39^th round (1098^th overall) in the 1993 Amateur Entry Draft. He was born in St. Louis, MO and attended O’Fallon Tech High School.
