Hello!

I am looking forward to my third year at Gateway STEM. My favorite thing about teaching is having opportunities to share historical and cultural context about works to help students relate to the timeless themes in what we are reading.

I have an BA in Classics from Truman State University and a Masters in Teaching from Saint Louis University. After living in four different states over the course of my life, I was able to finally return to my home town with my husband to raise our two daughters close to our extended family. In my free time I love biking, reading, watching movies, and exploring our beautiful city.
