Mr. Mark Fantroy

Welcome to the 24-25 School year Jaguars!

I’m thrilled to start my third year teaching the EMT Program at Gateway STEM! My name is Mark Fantroy, and I continue to bring extensive experience from my work with the St. Louis Fire Department, where I serve as a part-time Paramedic. Previously, I served as a Captain at the Kinloch Fire Protection District, where I handled responsibilities as the Public Information Officer and IT Officer, and occasionally worked on the truck as a Firefighter/Paramedic.

Teaching remains my true passion, and I am dedicated to helping students who are enthusiastic and determined to pursue a career as EMTs. My goal is to support and inspire every student who is committed to this rewarding field.

In my personal time, I love traveling with my wife and our two kids, Audrey and Oscar. This summer, we visited New York City. We went on a cruise from New Jersey and visited Bermuda, Grand Turk, and two spots in the Dominican Republic. I got some great scuba diving in during the stops in Bermuda, and the Dominican.

For any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me via email at Mark.Fantroy@slps.org. Parents are also welcome to contact me by phone at (314) 709-9204.

Looking forward to an exciting and successful year ahead!
