Hello, My name is Clifton Kinnie and I am a high school cross categorical special education teacher here at Gateway High School STEM. This will be my 5th year teaching and my 4th year teaching within the SLPS school district. I am extremely excited to be able to teach and get to know your children and learn as much as I can along side them. Despite the current unordinary circumstances, I believe we will make this an extraordinary school year.

 

I grew up in St. Louis and am a graduate of Lutheran High School North Class of 2015━ Where I held distinction as Class President for three years. Upon graduation, I attended Howard University in Washington D.C where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Afro American Studies in May 2019. I’ve taught in school districts in both Washington D.C and now St. Louis, MO. For the 2023-2024 school year, One of my primary goals for my students is to help foster a love of learning and exploring in and out of my classroom.
