I LOVE teaching, and I LOVE being a Gateway Jaguar coach!

Education works best when we treat each other as family, that's how I run my classes.

My own family - first my 16 year old son who is starting his junior year at Rockwood.  Then I have two little brothers who are bigger than me, and am blessed to have both my parents alive and well, along with one grandma and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and my 5 nieces and nephews.

Gateway is simply my second home and I often end up there for 12 hours a day during sports seasons I coach or when helping with after school tutoring.  I started here in Fall 2006 as an ISS room sub and Special Education co-teacher.  I usually helped with math classes and tutored for it after school, too, so I eventually moved fully into the math department where I taught until 2020, when I joined the Engineering department to teach Project Lead the Way (PLTW) courses.

I am super excited to see all of you and know we will have an AWESOME year!
