    All students are encouraged to take the test 2 more times their senior year. 

    All students will receive 4 fee waivers to retake the ACT. Make sure to register before the deadline above! If you need help email your College Adviser

Accuplacer

  • All seniors in SLPS are required to take the Accuplacer exam. Their exact day will be given to them by their counselor in early November. 

    If a student decides to go to STLCC after graduation, this exam will place them in their classes.

    This exam is a computer based exam that is untimed. For practice materials, students can find resources HERE.
    In early November, counselors and college advisors will have printed practice materials available.

    Seniors received the below study packets:
    Quantitative Reasoning
    Arithmetic
    Reading
    Writing

SAT

  •  While the SAT is not a required test at Gateway for graduation, some of our students do choose to take the SAT or various SAT subject tests. 
    Check with the colleges that you are applying to, to see if it is required to take an SAT subject test or if it would benefit you to take the SAT exam.

    To test, students must register through CollegeBoard and may request a fee waiver from their college advisor or counselor. A fee waiver covers:

    2 free SATs, with or without the essay
    6 free SAT Subject Tests

    *Gateway STEM High School is not a testing site for the SAT. The closest location for our students is Bishop Dubourg High School. Test Center Code: 26240
