    Hi, I am Ashley Steele. I have had the pleasure of being a part of the Gateway STEM High School team for six years now. I work as an ILA in the science department, where I have had the joy of working with some of the most amazing kids I've ever met in my life! I've worked in education for over 15 years, because I am simply compassionate about serving my community, and making a difference in each person I encounter, young or old.  Prior to my time at Gateway, I worked as a preschool teacher for 4 years. I go married in August of 2019, so I am actually Mrs. Ashley Steele-Trussell. My husband and I have two amazing boys, Evan (14) & Ashton(8). I am excited to continue working with our students and colleagues as we learn, and grow together in new ways!
