About Family and Community Engagement (FACE)

The Office of Family and Community Engagement fosters a culture empowerment and strong family partnership within our community, where every family feels welcome, valued, and supported, to actively participate in their child’s education and effective partnerships that support student and school improvement.

Family and Community Specialists facilitate parental engagement designed to link learning to school activities and events, and home visits that strengthen family practices, school programs, and student achievement. This includes attending informational meetings that address attendance – which is a major factor in student achievement.
