We welcome the opportunity to help your child grow through an intentional, play-based curriculum that supports the whole child.
The Saint Louis Public School Pre-Kindergarten Program offers:- Free preschool for students who are fully toilet trained and have turned 3 or 4 prior to August 1st of the upcoming academic year (e.g., 3 or 4 prior to August 1, 2024, for the 24-25 school year)
- District transportation for eligible 4-year-olds
- Special education services for students with IEPs
- Teachers certified in early childhood education
- A 10:1 student to teacher ratio in every classroom
- Free breakfast and lunch served at school
- Before and/or after care at all schools
- Field trips to local museums and attractions
- The ability for Pre-K students to attend the same school as older siblings
Pre-K registration is open at all elementary school sites.
Start enrollment online or contact the school site to make an appointment.**If your child is new to the district and has an IEP, please contact Early Childhood Special Education at (314) 633-5360 for registration and placement.
If your family would like linguistic supports to complete the registration/enrollment process, please contact the ESOL Department at (314) 664-1066.
