Mission
The Parent/Infant Interaction Program (PIIP) provides quality educational and parenting support services to help students graduate and move forward with their goals after high school.
Wrap-Around Services
- CRIB/Infant Toddler Care Center offers parenting students of St. Louis Public Schools Missouri State licensed childcare for their children Birth to 5 years old.
- Prenatal Literacy and Adolescent Nurturing (PLAN) includes a variety of services designed specifically to meet the needs of prenatal and parenting students in the district.
- Project CORE (Challneging Opportunities, Resources and Experiences) implements the central outreach mission of the PIIP project in district schools.
- Male Involvement Component (MIC) offers support and mentoring to adolescent male parents.
Eligibility Requirements
PIIP offers teen parents of St. Louis Public Schools state-licensed childcare for their children, Birth to 5 years old. To be eligible for the Parent Infant Interaction Program, you must be a prenatal or parenting high school student attending a St. Louis Public high school.
The following documents are needed to complete registration:
- Parent's picture ID
- Child's original birth certificate
- Child’s immunization record
- Child's physical
- Insurance card
- Parent's class schedule
