• Calling all shutterbugs!

Chris Kuban and Charleese Sampa, both graduates of Gateway High School, have teamed up together to promote the Cameras for Kids program. Chris Cuban is the founder and head of Chemistry Multi-media and Charleese Sampa is the president of Eboni Eyes Education Foundation and a Commander in the United States Navy.

Together the two are collaborating on a project to encourage student interest in photography and to showcase positive images of St. Louis through the eyes of the youth. The theme of the program is: Representing My City. The photo contest runs from February 2, 2015 through March 31, 2015 and winners of contest will receive a digital camera.

Students in grades 3 – 12 are being asked to use their own camera along with a few sentences to provide their insight on the picture they took and how it captures the spirit of the St. Louis. The pictures are to be submitted to www.ebonieyes.org

The photos may be showcased in local galleries, sold online via 314photos.com or used in a photobook that will be compiled in April.
