Welcome to Freshman Honors English

In this class, my goal is to develop and solidify the essential skills you'll need to succeed throughout high school and beyond.

Our focus will be on mastering writing structure and format, ensuring you can craft well-organized and compelling essays. We'll reinforce the writing process, from brainstorming and drafting to revising and polishing.

We'll also dive into language acquisition, and writing conventions/grammar, and explore how to use and vary language effectively to express your ideas clearly and creatively. You'll also get to experiment with different writing styles to develop your voice as a writer.

Collaboration and communication with your peers will be a key part of our class. Whenever possible we will engage in group activities, writing labs, and class discussions, to learn to share thoughts and listen to others respectfully and productively
