    Greetings Family and Scholars,

I am Camille Davis and I am elated to serve as one of the BLA educators here at Metro Academic and Classical high school. I also serve as the sponsor of the Black Student Union Club.  I am a native of Chicago, Illinois, which is where I began my journey at Chicago Public Schools, working closely with administrators, educators, as a Type II supervisor of the CPS Network Safety Team and high school disciplinarian at Bogan high school. I've served and trained on several committees, such as Climate and Culture, Attendance Committee, Behavior Intervention Committee, ISS Committee, Restorative Justice Committee, MTTS Team, and SEL. In 2017, I made a decision any parent would make to relocate from Chicago to the Metro-East area in order to be closer to my daughter who was in her senior year of college in Memphis, Tennessee and required my support. My decision was one that my four sons supported, especially if it involved their only sister. After relocating, I served as the high school disciplinarian at Madison Jr/Sr high school, as well as the senior sponsor.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education at Harris-Stowe State University and I am currently working on obtaining my Master's degree at Capella University. My youngest son, Maurice, is a high school senior and we are eager to start our college tour journey!I have both a childhood and adulthood background in performing arts and  I am a proud model for alopecia awareness. "Yes, I am a Bold and Bald Beauty!" After taking a short break, I returned to the educational field and I began my journey here at Metro Academic and Classical high school. Metro Academic and Classical high school is my first Saint Louis Public School and I am so proud to be here!  I look forward to working with this fabulous team to assist with shaping the minds of our scholars both inside and outside of the classroom!
