    Teacher Message: Welcome to Metro! I am so excited to work as part of the Metro High School Team this school year. I teach African  American History, AP Psychology and IB Global Politics.

    Biography:
     I grew up in Saint Louis, MO and attended Kirkwood High School and UMSL where I recieved my bachelors degree in Political Science. After some "soul searching" where I traveled to and lived in several countries, I decided teaching was where my heart was and I returned to school to recieve my teaching certificate. I've been in education since 2012, working for Saint Louis Language Immersion Schools, Vashon High School and now a member of the Metro High School team. I completed my Masters Degree in Gifted Education and Gifted Certification in December 2021 at Lindenwood University. 
     
    In my free time I love to travel, hang out with my family (I have a 1 year old son and 3 year old daughter),  go hiking, play volleyball and read. I can't wait to meet all of my students this year and look forward to all the learning we're going to do and memories we're going to make.
