Greetings! I am the Assistant Principal here at Metro Academic and Classical High School. This is my 14th year in SLPS. My teaching background includes Biology, AP Environmental Science, Teacher Mentoring, Instructional Coaching, and Administration. I am thrilled to be at Metro HS with my mentor and prior instructional coach, Dr. Tina Hamilton. We want Metro to provide everything your students need to be successful and to achieve the goals they set for themselves. Being the top public high school in the state comes with a lot of responsibility, but first and foremost, my goal is to take care of the students and allow them to grow to their maximum potential. I believe that relationships within a school are key to a successful and collaborative community. These relationships are vital for keeping parents informed, helping to push through challenging times, and supporting our students' social-emotional and academic needs. We will get to know each other throughout the year and I will make it a point to connect with each and every family here at Metro. Let's have an excellent '24-'25 school year!
