  • Hello Students and Families!

    In my third year of teaching at Metro, I'm excited to be teaching AP Environmental Science, Honors Biology and, IB Sports, Exercise and Health Science. I also coach boys soccer and the middle distance and distance events in track and field.

    Before becoming a teacher in 2017, I worked science and health education jobs at organizations like the New England Aquarium, No Kid Hungry and Grassroot Soccer.

    I have always loved the way that science answers our questions and compels us to ask many more. As a biology and sports science teacher, I especially enjoy helping students understand and appreciate the human body. In environmental science, we spend our time exploring how humans impact the world and consider the complicated, interdisciplinary solutions to environmental issues.

    When I’m not at school, I like to travel and spend time with my family, including my dogs, Birdie and Karoo. I enjoy running, playing soccer and spending time outside. I love to support my favorite sports teams, including the US Women’s Soccer Team, Liverpool FC and the Boston Celtics.
