Hi all!

My name is Samantha (Sam) Jones and I am the Chemistry and Anatomy & Physiology teacher at Metro A&C.  This is my third year teaching at Metro and I am so excited to be with the smartest students in the state!!

I went to Mizzou - Go Tigers - for my undergrad where I received a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Minor in Psychology.  After I graduated, I got a job working for Wash U in the Genome Institute.  I did research and lab work for three years before I decided to go back to school and get my teaching degree.  I got my Master's in Secondary Education from UMSL and started working for SLPS.

I've been a south county, St. Louis girl my whole life and love our city!  I love the water and swimming so I try to spend as much time down at the lake as possible.  I love concerts and musicals.  Really, I love music in general so I am always open to any song recommendations if you have them!

I look forward to getting to explore the sciences with you this year and to be back in the Metro community!
