Hello!
My name is Ms. Diana Lacey, and I am thrilled to be the 6th-grade Ancient Civilizations and Humanities teacher at Carnahan STEAM Middle School.

I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia (Go MIZZOU!) and my graduate degree from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. With over 25 years of experience in education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for teaching to the classroom.

A little about me: I was born and raised in Missouri, where I attended 12 different schools before graduating high school—an experience that shaped my love for learning and adaptability. Before embarking on my journey in education, I proudly served as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy.

I am also a proud parent to three grown children and a doting grandparent to four wonderful grandchildren.

I look forward to an exciting and enriching year at Carnahan STEAM Middle School, and I can’t wait to connect with each of you as we explore the fascinating world of Ancient Civilizations and literacy together!
