Welcome! I graduated from Webster Groves High School before obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Truman State University.  I continued my education and obtained a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University.  Recently, I received my Master’s in Education from UMSL.

I am passionate about student growth and encouraging students to be an active participant in their learning.  Over the years, I have worked with children of all age groups and have found a deep passion in teaching math. Additionally, I have an energetic and animated son, named Ian, entering second grade this year in the district. When I am not in the classroom, I serve on the board for the non-profit, Inner City Youth Tutoring.
