Hello, Carnahan Families!

Welcome to my page! My name is Mrs. McNeal, but everyone calls me Mrs. Mac, and I am proud to serve you as the Family and Community Specialist. I have worked at Carnahan since the day it opened its doors in 2003. I have always had a desire to help students beyond the classroom. 

I have been the Building Steward since 2006.  I was the Assistant Coach for the girls track and field for 5 years, where the girls did bring home medals from the state competition. I was also the Head Coach for the boys cross-country team for 2 years.  I have worn many hats during my time at Carnahan High School of the Future, and am now proud to continue the legacy with Carnahan STEAM Middle.

I graduated from Lincoln Senior High School and I went straight to Job Corp in Cleveland, Ohio to take a trade.  I earned two trades. I earned a certificate in Office Management, and a certificate as a CNA. After graduation from Job Corp, I enrolled at Vocational Training School and earned a certificate as a Clerk Typist/Receptionist and later enrolled at State Community College and earned an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Colorado Technical University in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Human Services, a Master’s Degree in Human Services, and a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and School Counseling from Lindenwood University. 

I am excited for this year as we have many things planned out to bring Carnahan families together and celebrate our youth.
