Greetings!  My name is Tracey Moore and I am the School Social Worker at Compton-Drew ILC Middle.  I have been a social worker for over 20 years and returned to St. Louis Public Schools as a school social worker in 2014.  Being a school social worker is my passion and not a job.  I love helping people help themselves.  I live by the motto "If I can make a difference in just one student's life, I've helped change the world."

Some of my duties are listed below:

Groups (girls) - (6-8 weeks social-emotional well-being and grief focused)

Individual meetings with students to assist with goal achievement

Providing community resources to families and students - (100 neediest stories, utility assistance, food resources, CD Cares Closet, etc)

Classroom presentations on social-emotional wellbeing

Classroom observations

Attendance monitoring - (home visits, referrals to Family Court, etc.)
