Welcome back, students!
This is my 4th year at Compton-Drew Middle School. I teach Communication Arts to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade exceptional students. I love learning and reading. I read books and I listen to audiobooks every day (YES, audiobooks count as reading!) I like to have fun in the classroom and do a lot of hands-on learning. I believe students learn the most when they are having fun. My goal is to see growth in academic as well as social skills while working with students.

I also work as the exceptional education (special education) team leader at Compton Drew. I enjoy working as a team to provide the best support and services for each student.
