I have been an educator at Compton-Drew ILC Middle School since 2015. I have been in education for 22 years, working at various schools in the SLPS District.   I am passionate about fostering quality learning, positive behaviors, and engaging in a welcoming classroom experience. Students will develop the knowledge and skills to empower each scholar to have confidence in his/her ability to reach their full potential.  I believe in the power of how far you can go with a quality education.  Scholars will be supported through various methods of guided instruction, hands-on activities, cooperative learning experiences, collaborative projects, and online programs such as Khan Academy, Nearpod, and IXL. My main focus is creating an engaging classroom where every student feels supported and is able to achieve academic goals.
