Hello! I am Mrs. Davis-Purley and I teach 8th grade pre-algebra at Compton-Drew ILC Middle School. I received my Bachelor of Science in secondary education and Masters in curriculum and instruction at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

A few things I love to do in my spare time are traveling (I love the beach and road trips), playing video games (I have a PS4 and Nintendo Switch), and teaching, of course.

My favorite color is purple, my favorite food is chocolate, I love wearing high top tennis shoes, and my age is...well...let us not get into all of that.

I was born and raised in the STL and do not plan to live anywhere else. I love this city because everything is within 15-20 minutes of each other with the multiple highway accesses. I also love this city because we have many attractions such as our beloved Forest Park, the St. Louis Science Center, Arch Riverfront, Missouri Botanical Garden, Cardinals baseball, and so much more.

My love for teaching started as a child as I played school with my older brother. It is my belief that working together as a team outlines success for teachers, students, and parents. As a dedicated educator, it is my goal to work with as many stakeholders as possible to ensure the success of our students. It is my desire to see every child be prepared for high school, college or trade school, and beyond.
