Welcome to Carr Lane VPA Middle School! I am Miss Bailey, the 6th Grade ELA Teacher. I pursued my studies in Accounting at Harris-Stowe State University and later graduated from UEI College with a certificate in Patient Care, which encompasses Phlebotomy and EKG. I proudly graduated with a 4.0 GPA and received recognition for Academic Honors and being on the Dean's List.

With over 11 years of experience in healthcare, specifically working with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients, I made the transition to education two years ago. My desire to continue making a difference led me here and I couldn't be more excited about this new journey.

Currently in my third year with the St. Louis Public Schools, I am absolutely thrilled to work with your child in the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year. I can't wait to meet you and your family as we embark on an incredible journey of reading, learning, and personal growth together. It truly takes a village to raise a child, and I am honored and grateful to be a part of your village.

I believe that every child has the potential to succeed and thrive in a supportive and nurturing environment. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore their interests and develop their skills. I strive to foster a love of learning by encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. Together, we will work towards academic excellence and personal growth, ensuring that each student reaches their full potential.
