Welcome to Carr Lane VPA Middle School! I'm Miss Bailey, the 6th Grade ELA Teacher. I studied Accounting at Harris-Stowe State University and then graduated from UEI College with a certificate in Patient Care, which includes Phlebotomy and EKG. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was recognized with Academic Honors and Dean's List.

I have a background in healthcare and have worked with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients for over 11 years. A year ago, I made the switch to education because I wanted to continue giving back, and I absolutely love it here.

This is my third year with SLPS, and I'm thrilled to be working with your child this year. I'm looking forward to meeting you and having an amazing year of reading, learning, and growth! It takes a village to raise a child, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of your village.
