Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! My name is Christine Ring, and I am enthusiastic about returning for my fourth year to Carr Lane VPA Middle School as an Academic Instructional Coach. I began my career with Saint Louis Public Schools as a special education teacher at Long Middle School in 1992 and transitioned into my role as an instructional coach in 2004 at Fanning Middle School. As an AIC, I support students, teachers, and our CLVPA school community in many ways. I serve as a resource provider, classroom supporter, data coach, mentor, learner, school leader, learning facilitator, curriculum and instructional specialist, catalyst for change, and relationship builder. Most importantly, I am here to improve student achievement.

Throughout the school year, it is imperative that we continue to learn and grow, stay safe, and positively connect with one another in our school community. Students, remember to be 100% "powered up" and ready to learn each and every day. Pay close attention to class assignments and announcements from each of your teachers on Microsoft Teams, too. Parents, you should be able to find general classroom information on the teachers' webpages.
