I am so excited to work with the all the students at Stix this year.  It’s going to be a year filled with fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. 

I thought you might like to know a little bit about me. 

I graduated from UMSL in 2009 with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. After graduating, I was a kindergarten through 6th grade reading and math interventionist in the Ferguson Florissant School District. When my son was born prematurely, I had to take some time off to take care of him. The 2022-2023 school year will be my sixth school year with St. Louis Public Schools. I absolutely love it here at Stix and am sure you will too.

I am currently working on my Masters in Elementary Education with a Reading Specialization. Reading is my passion, as well as my favorite thing to teach. I love watching my students grow throughout the year and uncover so many skills to be successful readers.   

I am a lifelong learner and plan to continue my schooling and receive an Educational Specialist degree in Administration. 

It is my mission to instill a love of learning in all the students at Stix. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
