Hello Stix family!  I am Ms. Slaughter, the Stix ECC social worker.  I have been with St. Louis Public Schools since 1998, working in different positions but as a social worker since 2014.  I believe that all children deserve a chance to succeed and to become great scholars.  I understand that home life is a major influence on how successful our children are in the school setting.  It is my goal to make certain that all Stix students’ basic needs are met each day they are in attendance at Stix.  I am here to provide resources for both parents and students with food, housing, clothing, employment, medical, advocacy services, and additional educational assistance.   If you have any needs that warrant immediate attention, I am your person.
