Hi!  My name is Beth Mask.  This is my fourth year teaching at Stix ECC as a 2nd grade gifted teacher.  Prior, I taugth five years in a 3rd grade classroom.  I enjoy working with the gifted because they are inquisitive, creative and enjoy problem solving.  I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Gifted Education at Lindenwood University in May 2020.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as continued learning, hiking, and new adventures.  I look forward to working with the "Happy Campers" this year.  I realize virtual learning is new to most as well as myself.  We will communicate often and make the most of this experience to ensure success.  I will try my best to have students engaged in a variety of activities in which they are bound to have "Smore" learning opportunities!  

I am excited to announce our student teacher is now our gifted teacher for kindergarten.  Her name is Kyra Smith and she is wonderful!  She will be an asset to this classroom.  I am thankful she is staying at Stix Early Childhood Center.
