Welcome to the Vashon High School Principal's Corner
My name is Ethan Randall and I'm one of the new Co Principals at Vashon High School. I'm excited and eager to be a part of the Vashon High School Family. I'm a career educator with 20 years-experience. I graduated from The Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee with both a Bachelor's Degree and Masters of Eduction degree. Prior to finishing my degrees I played college football.
I also completed additional trainings at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, and non degreed training's at Harvard University. I believe in education. I believe all children are capable of learning. I believe in children staying in a child's place, and adults staying in an adult's place. Vashon is an intriguing place with a tremendous History and tradition. We're going to be great!
Mr. Sonchez Johnson, Sr., I am delighted to introduce myself as a co-principal of Vashon High School. As a proud alumnus of St. Louis Public Schools, I bring a wealth of experience from my roles as a Coach, Special Educator, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal over the past twenty-five years. My commitment is to uplift our community and prepare our students for the diverse paths of college, military service, and successful careers.
I am thrilled about the journey we are about to embark on together. The road ahead offers many opportunities to transform Vashon High School into an exceptional place for all students to learn, grow, thrive, and achieve their dreams. I am eager to foster collaboration with students, teachers, parents, and the Vashon community as we work hand in hand to achieve our shared goals. Rest assured, my commitment to this transformation is unwavering and steadfast.
Your participation and input are not only welcomed but essential to our success. Let's make this journey inspiring together!
Let's go, Wolverines!
