Hello All! My name is Ms. Wiedemann (pronounced We-Duh-Men) and this is my first year at Vashon High School.  In the previous 9 years of my career in education, I have worked in St. Louis area charter schools including St. Louis College Prep and KIPP St. Louis High School.  I love being an educator, teaching kids to question and challenge historical narratives and helping students to love learning! Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to teach nearly every social studies class, however, World History is my favorite!  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my partner, playing with my dogs, adventuring outdoors, traveling, gardening, crafting and attending concerts and festivals. I am so excited to be at the V!
