Hello everyone,

My name is Chris Canedo and this year I will be teaching World History and American Government. This will be my 8th year teaching as a full-time teacher, all of which have been at Roosevelt.

I am originally from San Antonio, Texas and grew up there until I came here to St. Louis so that I could attend Saint Louis University. While at SLU, I majored in both Secondary Education and History. I spent my time at SLU being involved with the Micah learning community, where we did community service throughout the city. I was also involved in student government and spent a lot of time during those years playing basketball and soccer with friends and helping to start a Latin dance team.

I am extremely excited to be back at Roosevelt for another year and I look forward to getting to know all of my students and having a wonderful year.
