Hello, I am Mr. Bowers. I serve as Vashon High School's Tech Librarian. I have been at Vashon for about 10 years and have taught many different courses. I am certified in (14) different subject areas and have been the teacher of record for (12) different courses (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, College Algebra, Phyisical Science, Biology, Earth Science, ACT Test Prep, Intro to Business, Advanced Microsoft Certification, Coding, Project Lead The Way Computer Science Essentials).

Currently I help manage Vashon's 1:1 digital transformation and serve the students, parents, and staff. I can help with all technology needs and am readily available in the library. I am married to Mrs. Bowers -we met and married at Vashon - and we intend to serve Vashon students in many different capacities for the rest of our careers.

I am currently employing low-code app solutions combined with automation and A.I. to help meet the need of our community. Coronavirus, staff shortages, and an abrupt transition to 1:1 technology have been very challenging for all of us these past few years. It is my hope that my time, energy, and effort can provide the necessary support to see us through the challenges that await us in the years to come.
