Welcome!

My name is Ms. Dede. I teach two Sophomore English classes; World Literature and Sophomore Writing. This is my third year teaching high school English, and my second at Vashon.

I love teaching because it allows me to share my love of language with students. English helps students develop skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking. I love helping students grow in these areas because they will help students flourish in life!

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, gardening, and yoga. I also enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my cat, Frog Legs.
